Special edition on reproducible research issues in "mathematical/computational biology"

Hello,

A few months ago, Hidde de Jong shared this special issue on Reproducibility in Computational Biology:

https://link.springer.com/journal/11538/topicalCollection/AC_3491bc619b5ca90dd66ee1e807b650aa

I still haven’t found the time to read it but I’m sure some of you will be able to provide some feedback and hopefully to learn something from it.

Best,

Arnaud

I have looked at the two open access articles in that collection. The one by David Gavaghan contains nothing surprising for people interested in reproducible research, but it provides many references to specific cases in mathematical biology. The article by Gary An is more about fundamental issues with the scientific study of complex problems, referring to reproducibility merely as a symptom. Worth reading for those who are working in or close to biomedical research.
