What is replication? by Brian Nosek and Timothy Errington try to define what exactly a replications are and what they are good for.
Spoiler: their definition is “Replication is a study for which any outcome would be considered diagnostic evidence about a prior claim.”
Shouldn’t this be somehow merged with Reproducibility and Replicability in Science ? I’m note sure how to proceed yet but just making the connexion for the moment.
My impression was that each topic in this category is for discussing one book or paper, so I followed that principle. But connections are important as well.
